I was developing some medium format rolls that I had lying around and discovered this photo from one of the rolls. It reminds of Lee Friedlander and it makes it me really happy.

Shot some photos this weekend for a project dealing with humanity. I went out into the city and asked strangers to share an intimate moment/space with me. I'm really fascinated by the concept of personal space and territory, and I thought it would be interesting to test those boundaries with a person I have no knowledge about, other than the fact that we are both humans. But people are more reserved than I expected, and the images were not what I expected so I illustrated my idea with a good friend instead. This isn't over yet - I WILL successfully get entangled with strange people.
